PSA: Tags are good!
Hey evfurbody,
Just wanted to make a little PSA (that's "Public Service Announcement" not "Puppies (are) So Awesome" - the Julie-people says my version doesn't fit right anyway).
So I was taking my people for a walk this evening, just minding our own business and out of nowhere comes this little terrier running up after me. I sniffed and said "hi" like a polite doggie should, but then this little bugger just wouldn't go away. He followed us all the way home! And I wasn't so much a fan of that. This is MY people thanks, go find your own.
So we got home, and the little guy was running around like a crazy-dog up and down our street. My people brought me in the house and then went out again to try to catch that crazy little dog to see if she could help him find his home. But the little dog didn't have any tags on his nice leather collar! Why not? So my people put him on a leash and walked back through the neighborhood to where he found us, thinking that maybe someone would be looking for him around there.
And thank goodness there was a lady driving around in her car looking for him. "Iggy!" she called out when she saw him walking with my people. "He's notorious for getting out" she said. So my people said "You should probably get him a dog tag then."
Seriously, what if we hadn't been walking past when he got out? Anyone could have dognapped the little guy - or worse! And he was cute and all, but I kinda like being an "only dog" at my house, so it's a good thing my people found his people!
So to all you dogs out there, wear your dog tags! All the cool kids are doing it!
