Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Today is Earth Day, everydoggie! Here's a pup's perspective on "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" ...

REDUCE - Spay & Neuter for fewer homeless pets
REUSE - Adopt a shelter pet! Every doggie deserves a forever home.
RECYCLE - Hmmm, this one is a little harder. How about recycling the packing materials from your Love of Dog Bakery orders. At Love of Dog Bakery, all of our shipping materials are either reused - such as the packing peanuts (which, the people tell me are not peanuts like the ones that make tasty peanut butter, so please don't eat them!) or made from recyclable materials - like our shipping boxes, which are partially recycled already and then you can recycle them again yourself.

And here's another great suggestion this Earth Day - Have your people use 100% biodegradable/biocompostable poop bags, which are made of corn instead of plastic. My people buy them online at http://www.poopbags.com/. Do your part. No dog is too small to make a difference!

Mmmmm....Cheddar!

It's an oldie but goodie - the Beef & Cheddar Bones. My Julie-people was baking some earlier today so I figured I'd share with evfurbody what makes these bones so gosh-dog yummy. It's the cheese! Not just any cheese either - Cabbot Vermont Sharp Cheddar. Nuthin' but the best!

I love it when my Julie-people bakes these bones, ya know why? Because she's kinda messy in the kitchen. I sit patiently by her feet as she fresh grates the Vermont Sharp Cheddar because I just know that some of it is bound to end up on the floor. And sure enough, pups, it always does! Sometimes she'll even give me a small piece if it breaks off the block while she's grating. Mmmmmm....cheddar!
